I love the Fall. Sitting outside enjoying the cool breeze. Asados (BBQs) And festivals. This year we went to Denver Days a small festival here in my home town. It is for the kiddies mostly and Matias isn't old enough to enjoy the rides yet but we had a good time just walking around and checking out the goings on.
We also went to the Apple festival in a town near by. Lots of booths, crafty things and ofcourse apples. Now we have a ton of apples, not really but a lot none the less. So I will have to get creative and make some yummy dishes with all the apples. Maybe some apple sauce and apple cake. Anyone got any apple recipes??
We went to "Three Goats" Coffee Shop for the first time last night. Nice place. I think we will go back. They have good empanadas and scones. Oh and my new favorite dirnk is cold apple cider. MMMM. Oh maybe I can make some of that with all those apples. Google here I come.
We are also planning a trip to the Carolina Renaissance Festival.
I have never been but we decided to go as a family this year and we also want to check out the Corn Maze.
And ofcourse there is the annual Fall Festival at the Linkers that I enjoy so much. Ahh roasting hot dogs, marshmellows and hay rides. Good clean family fun.
